This was to visit the grave of Richard Samuel Steatham who was killed in action on Friday the 28th July 1944. Exactly eighty years to the day of our visit. The group was myself and Liz. |

This was to visit the grave of Joseph Sheldon who was killed in action in France on Wednesday the 23rd June 1915, ironically the day after his birthday. He is buried at the Guards Cemetery, Windy Corner, Cuinchy, France. - Grave Number IV. H. 35. The group was myself and Liz. |

This visit was to Tatenhill, Staffordshire, to visit the church of St Michael & All Angels [DE13 9SD]. This is where William Statham, was baptised on Tuesday the 24th March 1693 to parents William and Alice Statham. William Statham was Robert Steatham's Great Grandfather. The group was myself and Liz. |

Grantham 5th of September 2010
This visit to villages spread around Grantham, Lincolnshire, was to gather information about Joseph Hugill, who was a Stipendiary Curate at three churches here prior to him coming to St Lawrence, Darlaston as Rector (1840-1842). Mary Steatham was baptised at St. Lawrence, Darlaston, Staffs, on Sunday the 14th of February 1841, by the Rector Joseph Hugill D.D. Mary Statham/Steatham (1840-), was the mother of Charles Steatham, the founder of this unique branch of the Steatham Family tree. The group was myself, and my Wife Liz. |

Darlaston 5th of June 2010 This visit was a tour around James Bridge Cemetery, to see if George Steatham's grave had been replaced by the CWGC, and also to check if Elizabeth Steatham's grave had been placed flat as expected. The group was myself, and my Wife Liz. |

Xmas 2009 On the 12th of December 2009, I visited, and placed wreaths on the graves of George Steatham, Robert Steatham, Moses Steatham, Elizabeth Steatham. On the 19th of December 2009, I visited the grave of Florence Emily Reynolds (Nee Steatham), and placed a wreath. The group was myself, my Wife Liz. |
