This visit by Bob Caldwell, and his daughter Debs was to investigate and see places associated with his Grandfather Alfred Steatham

This visit was to explore the area around the "White Lion Inn" [now used by Accord Housing], at Darlaston.

Grantham 5th September 2010.

This visit to villages spread around Grantham, Lincolnshire, was to gather information about Joseph Hugill, who was a Stipendiary Curate at three churches here prior to him coming to St Lawrence, Darlaston as Rector (1840-1842).

Mary Steatham was baptised at St. Lawrence, Darlaston, Staffs, on Sunday the 14th February 1841,
by the Rector Joseph Hugill D.D.

Mary Statham/Steatham (1840-), was the mother of Charles Steatham,
the founder of this unique branch of the Steatham Family tree.

The group was myself, and my Wife Liz.

This visit was a tour around James Bridge Cemetery, to see if George Steatham's grave had been replaced by the CWGC, and also to check if Elizabeth Steatham's grave had been placed flat as expected.

The group was myself, and my Wife Liz.

On the 12th of December 2009, I visited, and placed wreaths on the graves of George Steatham, Robert Steatham, Moses Steatham, Elizabeth Steatham.

On the 19th December 2009, I visited the grave of Florence Emily Reynolds (Nee Steatham), and placed a wreath.

The group was myself, my Wife Liz.

This visit was to George's grave, on Rememberance Sunday 2009, walking around James Bridge Cemetery.

This visit was a tour around Darlaston;

St Lawrence Church, Cock Street & Pinfold Methodist Cemeteries, the Prince of Wales Public House, and a walking tour around James Bridge Cemetery.

The group was myself, my Wife Liz, and my daughter Julia.
